Description: Regardless of an elementary school’s math curriculum, there is often an inverse relationship between students’ age & their enthusiasm towards word problems. Precipitous drops from one year to the next are common. Upswings are rare.This trend is often the product of word problem complexes that have been unnecessarily created. This session will examine six different methods to differentiate and infuse dynamism into daily problem solving.
